"Very relaxed restaurant. The restaurant is kept clean and organized. Had extra seating for events. Wish the wings were bigger and more spicy with homemade ranch dressing, overall was a great experience. Definitely recommend this restaurant for a quick meal. Hope you enjoy "

"Checker's Grill is a great local spot that really hits the spot after a long day -- especially after doing the 1,000 Steps hike! My cousin and I stopped here after our hike, and it was exactly what we needed. The food was delicious, freshly made, and served in generous portions that filled us up without breaking the bank. The prices are very reasonable, especially for the amount of food you get, and everything tasted homemade and full of flavor. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, with that small-town charm that makes you feel welcome right away. The staff were polite and quick with our order, which made the experience even better. Whether you're a local or just visiting Mount Union for the trails, Checker's Grill is the perfect stop for a satisfying meal. "6/22/25 Decided to give them another shot. Great service this time, great food, more than enough to eat. I reccomend the delicious chipped beef n gravy over hashbrowns. Was only $6.50. Wife's breakfast was $7.00: 2eggs 2 toast 3 bacon n a pile of homefries. 9/29/24 Walked in Sunday morning for breakfast n seated ourselves. Waitress walked past us, never said a word n waited on a nearby table. Wife turned and looked at her, making eye contact to ensure she knew we were waiting. Meanwhile a couple walks in, says hi to waitress. Waitress finishes taking order from the table she was at and goes straight to the couple and waits on them instead of us. Wife n I put up with this being overlooked twice before and let it go but this is the third n last time. We left n will not be back. Your seat urself policy doesnt work. 8/24/24. Had an Italian melt on focaccia. Was pretty good. Nice amount of meat. Service was good. 2023 Food is great. Hot n fresh n they dont skimp on the portions. Service seems a bit staggered but was still speedy."

"Not fancy, but clean and inviting. I had the pontooner burger and my wife had chicken tenders, both tasted good and we had plenty of food. The menu is mostly burgers and sandwiches."

"Perfect casual dinner spot! We stopped here instead of a quick bite at Sheetz on a four hour drive and it did not disappoint. Our table was a little small which made ordering appetizers and sides a little difficult, but the fried pickle spears are a great start! The broccoli and cheddar soup was delicious and had nice chunks of broccoli. I ordered the beer battered cod- it's perfect coating and tartar sauce was a superb ending to the meal- highly recommend! Their salad was a little lacking- cheddar cheese, iceberg lettuce and halved cherry tomatoes are what to expect. The burgers are also good, with a lot of options to find the burger you're craving."

"The food is great here. We have eaten here twice. The food always comes out hot. The wings were crispy and lots of seasoning. My wife had a burger and it was great. The mozzarella sticks are really good as well. The fries are crispy. The desserts were good as well. The wait staff was kind and prompt. Highly suggest eating here if you get a chance!"

"Really great experience!! We showed up (5 of us) without realizing that they closed in 20 mins! Not once did they ever mention it. We got friendly attentive service, and delicious food! We were even offered dessert! Not to mention, VERY reasonable prices. Thanks for the great lunch!!"
